WHO WE ARE
Hi! My name’s Gene, I’m twenty-two years old and one of the proprietors of Whoopsie Daisie Creative & Performing Arts. I really dig working with children and young people and have been fortunate enough to do so for several years now.
My first job as a bungee-trampoline ride attendant opened my eyes to the amazing world of circus skills and performance. I had found my true passion! It was around this time that I started fire-twirling as a hobby and since then, I’ve enjoyed many various roles as an entertainer. These roles include a pirate entertainer – “Captain Gene” for children’s parties, a fire-twirler performer for adult’s parties and numerous performances for Live Sites and Pyrokinesis.
When I’m not entertaining young people, I’m studying Social Services at TAFE with a goal to work in the Youth Work field.
I’m really excited to have started Whoopsie Daisie with my partner, Michelle. I promise to give 100% to any performance I give and make each performance both original and exciting!
I look forward to working with you!
Gene
Hi! My name is Michelle Cocuzzoli, and I make up the other half of Whoopsie Daisie Creative & Performing Arts.
I have been professionally trained in many different forms of performance, my true passions being drama and dance. I have completed my Advanced Foundation level ballet exams and have enjoyed many years of teaching young children to love dance as much as I do! Last year I completed a Bachelor of Arts degree and Newcastle University majoring in Drama and minoring in Fine Art.
I have had several years of experience working part time in Childcare centres. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to teach children to express themselves through the art of dance and drama – it’s so rewarding to see their skills develop and their confidence grow!
I am really excited about Whoopsie Daisie Creative & Performing Arts and I look forward to working with you!
